UNIchip® Antibody Characterisation
UNIchip® family of Protein Biochips
Protagen AG has developed the UNIchip® family of protein biochips for faster development of diagnostic and therapeutic antibodies or other protein binders.
The UNIchip® biochips are printed with 400 recombinant human proteins in a proprietary layout enabling quantitative analysis of antibody binding.
In the UNIchip® Premium version customer-supplied proteins (e.g. cognate antigens) are printed as a serial dilution for affinity ranking and as positive controls.
The unique line of protein biochips is suitable for the following applications:
- Antibody specificity analysis for predicting performance in immuno-histochemistry
- Quantitative antibody fingerprint generation for development, production and quality control purposes
- Determination of "off-target-activity" of antibodies
- Affinity ranking of antibodies
- Selection of antibody pairs for ELISA-Development
The following protein biochips are available from the UNIchip® AV-series:
- UNIchip® AV-400 (cross section of cellular proteins)
- UNIchip® AV-VAR EP (extracellular proteins)
- UNIchip® AV-VAR MP (membrane proteins)
- UNIchip® AV-VAR IP (intracellular proteins)
An easy to use UNIchip® Data Analysis Tool generates quantitative antibody binding profiles (fingerprints) and binding curves in a standardized format.
